Welcome to the Mississippi High School Football Historians Association, a chapter of the High School Football Historians Association.

This project started in 2003 as a resource for Georgia high school football history, but thanks to the efforts and generosity of folks like David Parker, Dave Pickren, Rich Sanders, Josh Easter, and many, many (many, many, many) others, it eventually grew to include Arkansas, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Now, with the help of David Parker and David McKnight, I'm excited to add Louisiana and Mississippi along with introducing a completely redesigned site, built from the ground up over the last two years.

After this upcoming season the other four states will be transferred to this site and hopefully even more states added in time.

Help wanted

If you’re passionate about high school football and want to contribute to preserving its history, there’s a place for you here.

Mississippi is in need of a few volunteers to maintain the data (especially the 2025 season) and Louisiana is in need of a small army willing to whip the data into shape!

No special experience required ... just a passion for high school football and a willingness to contribute. Even just a couple of hours a month helps.

I'm also open to adding additional states, although my focus at the moment is to get this site completed (there's a still few things to be done) and then transferring the other four states to here, but if you have an interest in adding a state (Kentucky, Oklahoma, or Florida would be of intereste to me) and the data to start us out with, then let me know -- we might be able to work something out!

Interested? Request an account and let me know you'd like to get started!
