Welcome to the Arkansas High School Football Historians Association, a chapter of the High School Football Historians Association.
This project began in 2003 as a resource for Georgia high school football history, but thanks to the efforts and generosity of folks like David Parker, Dave Pickren, Rich Sanders, Josh Easter, and many, many (many, many, many) others, it eventually grew to include Arkansas, South Carolina, and Tennessee. Now, with the help of David Parker and David McKnight, I'm excited to add Louisiana and Mississippi — along with introducing a completely redesigned site, built from the ground up over the past two years.
After this upcoming season, the other four states will be transferred to this site, and hopefully, even more states will be added in time.
If you have an account on the old site -- you'll still need to create a new account here. I'll transfer the credit for edits to this site when I transfer the data itself.

If you’re passionate about high school football and want to contribute to preserving its history, there’s a place for you here.
Mississippi is in need of a few volunteers to maintain the data (especially for the 2025 season), and Louisiana is in need of a small army willing to whip the data into shape!
No special experience required... just a passion for high school football and a willingness to contribute. Even just a couple of hours a month helps.
I'm also open to adding additional states, although my focus at the moment is to get this site completed (there are still a few things to be done) and then transfering the other four states here. But if you have an interest in adding a state (Florida, Kentucky, North Carolina, or Oklahoma are of particular interest to me) and you have data to get us started, let me know — we might be able to work something out!
Interested? Request an account and let me know you'd like to get started!
